Wrapping Paper

Robin~chan! Thank-you for the necklace! Just got it in the mail finally! <3

But I really have to ask. Crocodile wrapping paper? Why? Isn't that a little... strange? Cute though:

And I have no idea what to do with the erasers. Even if they're cute too:

If you're trying to send a message, it's unecessary. I got it. Jeez.

Also between this and Father's Day it got me wondering. There's thousands of types of wrapping paper with some strange, sometimes cute designs. Anyone have a favorite? Do you guys just use whatever's cheap/handy or get something personal for the person it's for, or personal coming from you?

...

He--

Oh.

...I'm sure this is a situation that requires one to tread lightly, and I have no response that might be classified as delicate or tactful.

It's not funny.

...I-- this is difficult. Pardon me. ...I know that you can be impulsive, and I've somehow managed to grow fond enough of you not to want to see you rush into something you might regret. So I would advise you to think it through very thoroughly.

On that same note...I...no, never mind. Don't do something just to make someone else happy; it's stupid.

It is not.

Well, just be aware that there are pros and cons to be considered.

...What I was going to say is that I've also, god forbid, grown...tolerant enough of the mutt that I don't want to see him...hurt. Only because I am the only one allowed to destroy his happiness. So don't string him along.

Not.

...I also need to point out, because you may not have realized, that while it's good that you can be honest around him, you should also consider the possibility that he may not always be there to make you feel that way. He has a sense of loyalty and monogamy that borders on pathetic, and I have no reason to believe that he would leave you with children if you decide to have them, but like most people on this ocean, he leads a difficult life, and Rokushiki is hard on the body. There is more than one reason that the average life expectancy of a CP9 agent is quite low.

...I believe the expression is "die in a fire".

Yes. He doesn't want this to happen right away, does he? That's almost an unprecedented level of impulsiveness, even from him.

If you were within earshot, I would hiss.

I see. ...Things like this make me so very glad that my biological clock blinks 12:00. I hope that if I have any children, they never come looking for me.

People tend to get very intimidated when I hiss, actually. I'm told it's quite alarming.

When women have illegitimate children, it's typically quite a bit harder for them to miss.

...Next time we meet, I am going to bite you.

This happens to you often?

Stop hearting at me.

That is rather odd.

I grow more and more serious about the biting every time you do that.

That they are. Luckily, they tend to be terrified of me.

You won't like mine. Unless you have more in common with Kaku than originally suspected.

Exactly.

Is that so? I could never get into the other side of it. With a few exceptions that do not strictly count.

I have known children who are tolerable or amusing in spite of less appealing qualities, to be fair.
