Wrapping Paper

Robin~chan! Thank-you for the necklace! Just got it in the mail finally! <3

But I really have to ask. Crocodile wrapping paper? Why? Isn't that a little... strange? Cute though:

And I have no idea what to do with the erasers. Even if they're cute too:

If you're trying to send a message, it's unecessary. I got it. Jeez.

Also between this and Father's Day it got me wondering. There's thousands of types of wrapping paper with some strange, sometimes cute designs. Anyone have a favorite? Do you guys just use whatever's cheap/handy or get something personal for the person it's for, or personal coming from you?

If you were within earshot, I would hiss.

I see. ...Things like this make me so very glad that my biological clock blinks 12:00. I hope that if I have any children, they never come looking for me.

People tend to get very intimidated when I hiss, actually. I'm told it's quite alarming.

When women have illegitimate children, it's typically quite a bit harder for them to miss.

...Next time we meet, I am going to bite you.

This happens to you often?

Stop hearting at me.

That is rather odd.

I grow more and more serious about the biting every time you do that.

That they are. Luckily, they tend to be terrified of me.

You won't like mine. Unless you have more in common with Kaku than originally suspected.

Exactly.

Is that so? I could never get into the other side of it. With a few exceptions that do not strictly count.

I have known children who are tolerable or amusing in spite of less appealing qualities, to be fair.

While hair-pulling is often used as an expression of dominance over a submissive partner, especially a masochistic one, some people simply enjoy it because it feels good to them - myself being one of them. Pain and dominance have nothing to do with it. And I have occasionally ended up with scratches on my back so deep that they bleed, but that is because I have third degree burn scar tissue over 70% of it and I cannot feel sensation there unless someone gouges into my flesh, and even then it doesn't actually hurt.

No, there are not. It all accounts to raising and genealogy, but no one can say for sure which percentage of either accounts for behavior.

It was the result of a barrage of explosive gunfire aimed at my back during one of my earliest assignments. The pattern is purely coincidence; it's the one thing that used to make me believe in destiny.

If it means anything, I don't put much stock in genetics as an influence on behavior.

Now it makes me believe in irony.

This is vexing. Normally I'm able to be of some help with the problems of other people.

Hmm. I know. That doesn't explain the scars away, but I understand the feeling.

No, don't apologize for bringing it up. I understand that it helps most people to talk to someone about things, and I'm willing to help in that regard. Only it would be nice if there were something I could say.

I was thirteen; fifteen years; yes, in a sense. Why do you ask?

You have my permission to use me as a sounding board, in that case. Occasionally your externalized internal monologues amuse me.

Are you telling me that I am symbolic?

To be fair, most people irritate me. But I see your point. I think that it takes a certain sort of person to understand you, that sort of person being either incredibly patient or very similar to you. On the bright side, if your hypothetical children end up being like their parents, there shouldn't be much of a problem.
