Okay so Crocodile and I got in a debate about having goals/unattainable quests/missions/whatever. And I've been curious about this for awhile and like Liet said, things are really slow on this ship right now. So dream meme.


1. Do you have an ultimate goal/dream?
a) If yes, what is this?
b) If you don't want to tell people, why not?
2. What is it you want right now/within the next month or so?
3. What would it take for you to achieve your ultimate dream?
a) What would it take for you to obtain what you want right now?
4. Do you want other people to be involved in this dream?
a) Who and/or why them/why not?

Well it's not like we both don't have the time. Plus Luffy's kind of got a THING about dreams and goals so it'll come up soon-ish at some point anyway.

Nope. Not at all actually. I um... don't get drunk often and I'd only do it when I'm 100% sure I'd be alone.

Really? Why's that? Drinking alone is supposed to be the first sign of alcoholism.

Ah... but you didn't ask how often I'm alone. I haven't actually gotten drunk in like 7 years? Longer than that... I can't count. I just don't really like to get drunk actually. Besides, alcoholics prefer to get drunk with people too don't they?

True. I'm still not completely clear on how that works. Does he age? Does he have some kind of a life expectancy? And no, not a ghost.

Alcoholics just prefer to be drunk.

I didn't really have a goal, but I always assumed I'd grow up and get married and have kids and stuff. Death kind of puts a damper on that.

Yeah no offense but I think I'd rather be a grim reaper than live a normal life of "family".

Meh... it's... complicated. Look, getting drunk is dangerous. I assume you'll be fine since you're dead (could anything even kill you?) but I don't like to be in a position where I can't safely shoot my way out if things go wrong. And if I can't see straight enough to shoot, it's too dangerous.

Depends. I always sort of thought if you died everything ended. But if I could stick around doing stuff what's the downside? Does it hurt? You're not a ghost so you can still talk to people and do stuff right? And you can't die again.

I dunno... mostly I'm just okay with going mission to mission, quest to quest, day to day. And I could do that if I was in your whatever state right?

Oh... well then yeah that would suck. Unless THIS counts as undeath or something because if my old life was the people I couldn't talk to then yeah I'd be all for that.

No. You're alive. It wouldn't count. You'd have to die now, and never speak to anyone you knew in life ever again. You can't even really be yourself, you have to go by a different name, and you even look different to the living than you did in life. And you're fucking dead and will never age, but you still need to eat and sleep and therefore have a fucking JOB.

Whatever. I'm not supposed to make friends. Rube is always telling us to live on the periphery. To not get involved.

Huh... yeah that would... suck. I mean the having a job and eating and stuff is just you know... normal but everything else.

He hates me half the time. I basically said fuck you to all his rules. But they're there for a reason. Shit gets fucked up bad if you don't follow the rules.

I guess? Depends on the job right? I mean work can be fun if you're in the right occupation. Better than nothing I think.

Oh. Aside from the "normal" what happens if you get attached to people though?

I'm not qualified for a good job. And I have a job, reaping. I don't want another job, and I don't need one to FULFILL me or anything like that, I just need one in order to feed and clothe myself, which I shouldn't have to do, because I'm DEAD.

Well. Every reaper has an unknown quota of souls they have to take before they can go on. Your last reap becomes the next reaper. I filled someone's quota.
