Okay so Crocodile and I got in a debate about having goals/unattainable quests/missions/whatever. And I've been curious about this for awhile and like Liet said, things are really slow on this ship right now. So dream meme.


1. Do you have an ultimate goal/dream?
a) If yes, what is this?
b) If you don't want to tell people, why not?
2. What is it you want right now/within the next month or so?
3. What would it take for you to achieve your ultimate dream?
a) What would it take for you to obtain what you want right now?
4. Do you want other people to be involved in this dream?
a) Who and/or why them/why not?
5. Did you have a different dream when you were younger?
a) What was it?
b) What made it change?
c) If you could do it now, would you?
6. How much closer are you to acheiving your goal from 6 months ago?

Two. Reaping doesn't pay anything.

I only saw it happen once and it...didn't end well.

Oh... then that REALLY sucks. How come you have to be a reaper then?

Well. Every reaper has an unknown quota of souls they have to take before they can go on. Your last reap becomes the next reaper. I filled someone's quota.

It's really too complicated to explain.

Yeah. And my boss has been a reaper for over 80 years, so who knows how long I'll be around.

Yikes. Does everyone have the same unknown quota or is it different person to person?

Nah I get it. Safety precautions and all that. And there are things in my past I'd just as soon as forget as well.

Not even just that...it's just really complicated to explain.

So who decides who gets how much? That just seems... disorganized. Plus maybe it isn't even that it's a specific number maybe the number's made up and it's the specific person who becomes your replacement but you have to wait until it's your time so they're just lying about the number so that you keep doing it instead of sitting around until your replacement comes along.

Ah. Well... if you want, I find really complicated things get easier once you start them and given how many stupid things I say all the time, it's not going to phase me if it comes out garbled.

You just have to keep reaping as long as you're a reaper. When you reap your last one you can go on. If you don't do your assignments the people will die anyway. Someone has to get their soul out so they can move on.

No it's not that. It would just involve a ton of explanation, and I don't really feel like going into it.

*shrug* I dunno. It just seems an unfair setup. I hate when organizations decide to be all "only what information is necessary" because you know what? All pieces to the puzzle are vital if you want the job done right.

But that's just me.

It's not an "organization". It's like...whatever the higher power is. God or something. And obviously this works. I think it's better not to know. Then I can just go about my business and not be counting down the days. It's just like life. You don't know how much time you have left.

Too true I suppose. So how do you get your assignments of people to reap anyway? Is it like some clipboard list you get or something or does your boss just call you up with a name and a place?

My boss gives them to me. He gets a list from whoever's higher up.
