[Hello Luceti. Enjoying the normalcy after the shift? Oh well, nothing stays normal long here. And so we have Elvis, giving a rooftop performance to put U2 to shame. Really, why the Malnosso decided to kidnap an Elvis impersonator or turn someone into one is probably not a good thing to question. Especially since the truth is far far stranger and doesn't even involve the Malnosso at all.]

[Still, if you're a fan of rock'n'roll, Elvis, Las Vegas, Elvis impersonators (because Elvis was not that short, not that light-haired, and the accent is clearly a little forced), or just impromptu rooftop jam sessions, enjoy this. Who knows, they might even take requests!]

[And otherwise, Elvis will leave the building and go about the village, wiggling hips and playing the guitar.]

[Lupin sits down with a chuckle. He was feeling better, after sleeping for the better part of two days, but his balance was still shot and his arm was still a mess.]

I'm not leaving the yard~ But did you really expect me to be your audience from the other side of a window?

I was-a checkin' for traps.

[Obviously an ever present concern on Elvis' mind.]

I got sent as a candygram by a little lady with big knockers.

If you haven't hit them yet then you're probably good! [It was a valid concern on Elvis' part; not only did the most terrifying doctor Lupin had ever met live in that house, but a quiet and enigmatic but highly skilled ninja lived alongside of him. He didn't begrudge Elvis that concern.]

It's not much of a candygram if there's no candy, you know! Why don't you come down here and show me, or I'll just have to call that little lady myself to see what happened.

[He's just playing, but it was so fun. After the last two weeks, he needed some fun.]

I might-a thought that candy was-a for me.

[But Fujiko lithely grabs a rope, slinging the guitar over her shoulder and calls:]

Even unsteady and injured, it doesn't take much for Lupin to dodge the incoming body. He would have loved to grab her, but that would have been too much. Instead, Lupin settles heavily on the bed and grins.

Are you sure you're not just the Boy Wonder underneath that suit?

[This is why Lupin & co. do not let Fujiko make jokes. Gosh.]

[And she sets up her guitar.]

[He said nothing as 'Elvis' began the song, but only relaxed on the bed as a contented smile spread across his face. Of all of the things that Fujiko could have done, she had to decide on something that pulled at his heart.

There was no hidden lust, no guile. He was just at peace, and he wanted nothing more than to pull her into his arms. Damn the shoulder, he's born worse for Fujiko.]

That the little lady's choice? It was astounding--and makes up for the candy you ate on us.

Law will just be reading his book here and listening in from his spot on the couch. Smirking a little, amused at the banter.

Carry on, you two. He's not inclined to interrupt right now.]

[Oh, wow. Those lyrics sounded very reminiscent of something else he knew...

Lupin laughed, delighted by this. He would have clapped, but that would have to wait for now.]

Hey, Elvis. [He waited for the last of the riffs to fade before speaking, the laughter still evident in his voice.] Could I ask you a favor?

Sure thing red ranger, what's on yer mind?

Come over here--there's something I want you to give to the little lady for me, but it needs to be kept quiet.

[Flat stare.]

I'm not sure I'm much into that-a sorta thing man.

[What are you up to Lupin? But she wiggles her hips a little closer.]

Oh, it's nothing much. Really.

[He shifts a little closer himself, just inches at a time. Best to play this carefully~]

Uh-huh. [Suspicious as always. She might be cosplaying the hell out of this costume, but she's still forever paranoid. Still, she leans in, her hands still on the guitar, idly strumming as she works out the chords for Blue Moon.]

Just have a little faith, would ya?

[Though tired and injured, he's still fast. Lupin managed to slip his arm around 'Elvis'' waist and leaned in for a kiss--mask and all.]

[Hope you enjoy the taste of that rubber mask Lupin. There's even fake facial hair. She went all out, okay?]

He smiled when Fujiko lifted her voice to the melody, nostalgic for all of their Bond marathons and slipping into the theater releases. The Spy Who Loved Me was one of his favorites among them, and Carly Simon's range was perfectly suited for Fujiko.]
