But I really have to ask. Crocodile wrapping paper? Why? Isn't that a little... strange? Cute though:


And I have no idea what to do with the erasers. Even if they're cute too:

Also between this and Father's Day it got me wondering. There's thousands of types of wrapping paper with some strange, sometimes cute designs. Anyone have a favorite? Do you guys just use whatever's cheap/handy or get something personal for the person it's for, or personal coming from you?

Okay so Robin was going to send me a necklace. Only she was saying it might be illegal for innocent civilians to accept items from wanted pirates. So I said I'd just say it got lost in the mail. So I was hoping maybe that was what prompted the wrapping paper. Throwing off the World Government hypothetically. I have no clue about the erasers.

The SDC can't really count as pirates. Half of the crew is more obsessed with justice than some marines, another half of them are under 17 years old and the rest are animals and random people we rescued from being stranded on islands.

We only have like 3 actually wanted crew members right now and one of them is Jyabura and technically CP9 ran from their trial.

I consider myself a bounty hunter since I was going to join the marines. And I prefer not to write out all options like that. And given the number of favors I pull for the marines on a regular basis...

You're still pirates. Besides, one wanted crew member is more than enough anyway, and you've got three!

Semantics.

We don't have a regular pirate system of captaining anyway, Smoker watches me like a fucking hawk so we don't break the law, and unlike the Straw-Hat crew we have an extraoridinarily fluid system for getting, keeping, and losing crew members. Aside from which, if the wrong person asks, we cry and claim to be held hostage from when we were stranded and asked for help. Jyabura makes a very convincing threat.

I'm just saying... YOU might not consider yourself a pirate, but the government isn't gonna care about semantics. It was the same way with the Host kids' ship, and they actually never DID do anything illegal OR have anyone wanted on their crew.

I see. Hmn. I don't have much choice however. Smoker said... something similar and that if I wait too long doors will close anyway but...

If I leave... I'm closing a door there too. No matter where I go. I'm not a responsible person but I can't just leave this crew to fend for themselves. Although they'd probably be better off but that's not the point! And if the World Government comes after us, we'll deal with it then. Besides, it's not like their ships can follow us. So far as I can tell this is the only submarine on the Grand Line.
