[ooc: Log Post with SDC Crew and anyone who can wing by]

WHO: Fujiko, Jyabura, Lambo, Ipin, and everyone on the SDC ship with a bunch of surprise guests as they can manage it
WHAT: Jyabura and Fujiko are hiding from Friday the 13th and just to prove they are cursed, everyone keeps interrupting their hiding
WHEN: Friday the 13th (March, 2nd in a row)
WHERE: Jyabura's Room and SDC ship in general -- under the bed (not in)
WHY: To see how many interruptions we could get in one day and to fit in as many people as possible. Seriously, if you think you can have a MMverse reason for stopping by or just really really want to, DO SO :D We promise to love you for it.
WARNING: It's like PG (but with bad language because that's how a lot of the crew members are). Nothing too violent/sexual happens because anytime they think about it, someone crashes in. And the crackier the reasons, the better.

They'd made a blanket fort. Okay, Fujiko could acknowledge it was a little um... childish at best but she'd been serious about taking Silver's sarcastic suggestion to hide under a pile of blankets to heart. It worked for Gold Roger (sort of) so there had to be something to do it. They were stocked up. Painkillers for Jyabura after his fight from the night before, he was healing faster than any regular human could but she still worried. Grapes in case they got hungry and water bottles. Laptops, check. Books, check. And a mountain of blankets. The space under Jyabura's bed wasn't very big but it was fortifiable and that's what counted most. They weren't going to fake their own funerals (though after the sparring match it might have been easier to do) just in case it made Fate more mad than not. Still, hiding seemed like a very good idea and to hell with anyone who thought otherwise.

Besides the time at least would give her the chance to really focus on getting rid of Mello's virus. And however much he refused to admit it, Jyabura needed the rest.

"I also might've told her she should join," Jyabura muttered to Fujiko, half-apologetically. "Don't worry about it. You'll like her. She's nuts, but a nice kid."

He glanced out from under the bed to wear Luna was taking stock of her surroundings. "So, uh, you should go take a look around, you know? Say hi to Ipin; she's the captain. Tell her I sent you. I'd, uh, introduce you and all, but we're...it's..." He paused to think up a suitable excuse. Then he remembered who he was talking to. "We're hiding from Fate. Friday the 13th, and all, you know how it is. But I'll catch you later."

Luna stood and took a moment to straighten her robes. "Oh, Fate. I see. Would you like a charm?"

[identity profile] lunar-luna.livejournal.com 2009-03-16 10:24 pm (UTC)(link)
"To help you hide from Fate, of course," Luna thought for a moment, tapping a finger on her chin as she did so. "I can't really do anything about it directly, you know, that's pretty advanced. Still, maybe a misdirection spell..? It could make you harder to notice for a while, in cause Fate is looking for you. That might work."

[identity profile] agent-wolf.livejournal.com 2009-03-16 10:48 pm (UTC)(link)
"Uh," Jyabura cut in, sitting up under the fort to look out (and discovering a new bruise in the process), "are you sure it's not gonna do anything bad, like...transport us somewhere...or sink the sub or anything? Not that I don't think you know what you're doing, but...environmental factors and shit, you know?"

He figured Luna could handle it, but...well, Friday the 13th.

[identity profile] lunar-luna.livejournal.com 2009-03-16 11:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Luna blinked at Jyabura's words. "Oh, no. Spells like this rarely go badly awry. Of course nothing like that would happen," Luna smiled. "Probably."

Nonetheless, she shrugged her acceptance of Fujiko's rather vehement protest. "So I should speak to Ipin? All right then." She started towards the door, pausing for a moment to look back with a smile. "If I see Fate, I shall tell him you aren't in here." Then she exited, pulling the door shut after her.

[identity profile] agent-wolf.livejournal.com 2009-03-17 02:13 pm (UTC)(link)
"Uh, thanks, Luna," Jyabura called after her, and then slumped back to the floor when she was gone. "Jesus. Every damn time." He looked over at Fujiko, who seemed mildly terrified. "Hey, you okay? Look, on the bright side, it looks like Fate just decided to bombard us with interruptions instead of, you know, killing us or something. At least that's better?"

[identity profile] agent-wolf.livejournal.com 2009-03-17 08:02 pm (UTC)(link)
"Nah." Jyabura shrugged, putting his arm around Fujiko's waist. "Doesn't hurt so much anymore." That was a lie, but she was freaked out enough and didn't need to be worrying about him, especially considering that this was nothing compared to some of the beatings he'd taken...although he figured he probably shouldn't tell her that. Instead, he leaned down to kiss her shoulder, running his hand over her back. "Could use some warming up, though."

[identity profile] marinegrandpa.livejournal.com 2009-03-17 08:23 pm (UTC)(link)
At which point there was a popping noise and a Garp who was *on fire* appeared in the room, wrestling with some invisable monster and yelling about how he was not going to lose.

[identity profile] agent-wolf.livejournal.com 2009-03-17 08:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Jyabura immediately jumped up, so fast that he smacked his head on the bedframe. "Ow," he groaned, rubbing his forehead as he yanked the blankets back to see what the hell was going on now.

Oh. Wow.

"You know," he said distantly, after a momentary pause, "I wanna say I'm not surprised anymore, but..."

[identity profile] marinegrandpa.livejournal.com 2009-03-17 08:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Garp wasn't really paying much attention to the other two. He was vaguely aware of a blanket getting tossed on him, but most of his brain was busy with grabbing the hair tentacle thingies and slamming the head into the floor. (Which was a challenge to do when your enemy could and did change you body to that of claws and paws and such.)

However! something important was said!

He looked up from the headlock and bellowed, "Did someone mention TEA?"

[identity profile] agent-wolf.livejournal.com 2009-03-17 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Jyabura could find no adequate response to this other than to smack himself in the forehead and climb back underneath the bed for cover. "I give up," he muttered. "I just give up."

[identity profile] agent-wolf.livejournal.com 2009-03-17 09:19 pm (UTC)(link)
"Fine," Jyabura said, resigned, from under the bed. "Totally fine. Lemme know when he's done being a giant flaming block of insanity."

[identity profile] marinegrandpa.livejournal.com 2009-03-17 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh neat he was glowing neon rainbow colored again.

"But that is going to taker all daaaaaay," Garp complained as he got thrown into the wall, "I want the tea now!"

He used the momentiun to leap back at Fate knocking them both towards to the other side of the room. Only gravity turned off again and they hit the roof instead.

[identity profile] pinzutimebomb.livejournal.com 2009-03-17 11:00 pm (UTC)(link)
It took her a minute or so to find the source of the commotion and she frowned down the hallway at Fujiko. Really they were taking this thing a bit too far weren't they? "What on EARTH are you doing in there? You're rocking the whole boat!"

[identity profile] pinzutimebomb.livejournal.com 2009-03-17 11:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Ipin looked inside at Garp on the ceiling fighting himself, Jyabura appeared to still be under the bed, the smell of smoke was permeating the room and Fujiko looked close to tears. "Tea?" She asked as though this sort of thing happened daily. She called up to Garp. "Do you have any type you'd prefer?"
