The real trick was that that they had watchtowers all over the place. More than that, you couldn't just fly out. They had these bird things. Real nasty bastards... the moment something flies up there, they keep duplicating until they completely destroy whatever's up there. There was no way past that. It was impenetrable.

Without a target... those idiot birds just kept multiplying, making it impossible for them to see what was going on from the watch towers. Since they couldn't turn their guns on us, we just had to deal with the fences and tigers. Both of which were no problem for someone like me.
