Well now, this whole teleporting thing isn't too bad. If only they could control it they'd make a fortune. Well, not really since "they" apparently don't believe in money. I've never heard of such a thing. So backwards. The idea that "they" could be more enlightented beyond the needs of money is just plain ludicrous. Oh well! They don't know what they're missing.

I haven't gotten to explore all of this place yet, so anyone wind up somewhere interesting from this? Come on! Share the juicy details please!

Ahh sorry to hear it. [VERY gently brushes it just to check to the workmanship, not like it's easy to do on her own, but hops away before he can get mad or something.] So what happens then?

[He reels around to glare at her, but the look only lasts a moment.]

If your wing gets hurt I mean? [Bites her lower lip demurely, looking worried and scared again.]

I guess you're half-dead 'til it grows back. Don't remember a lot of it.

[Makes a small meeping sound and is forced to sit down in a chair.] Go figure...

Is the war ongoing and fighting in the streets or...?

[He just regains that crooked smile at her reaction.]

Nah, they sent us off to this place out of the bubble. Was all black and white. Really made the blood stand out. It was somethin'.

[Yes, he's almost nostalgic.]

[Inches closer again in her seat.]

That's bizarre. [Practically comes from a black and white world, whut.]

[He waves her off.] Nah, it's fine. Probably should be headin' home to tape it up, though.

Uh, tape? Wouldn't that hurt? I mean it's... [Honestly has no idea what it is or not.] Here, what kind do you need? I've got some medical tape around. And free hands to help you with it.

Uh...okay. Medical tape'll work. I just gotta keep it from crackin' more.

[She can't be serious. Can she?]

Least I can do! [Bounds off to a cabinet where she keeps her medical supplies and returns with a small roll and dispenser.] After all, you triggered my trap. [And if it wouldn't be ridiculously absurd, she'd totally change into a nurse costume for the hell of it.] Does it hurt still? I mean are there nerves there? I hope that's not too impolite to ask. [Smoothly runs her fingers over the small fracture before applying tape in little Xs to keep it safe.]

[His brow creases, but he won't let himself wince.]

It's fine. But you gotta tape it all the way around.

[He holds out his hand for the roll of tape. It's weird to have a human do this. Not like they'd know what to do.]

So it hurts? [Frowns as though expecting him to twinge, but doesn't give the roll over either. She's kind of a control freak.] Arms up then. And no tough guy act! You have to tell me if I make it too tight. [Slight pout and insistent stamp of foot.]

[He turns to give her another sardonic look.] What're you, some kinda nurse?

I even have the outfit in my room.~

[He stiffens for a moment, stunned more at her tone than her words. Seriously?? Is she seriously flirting with him? For some reason it makes him a little sick to his stomach.]

Uh...yeah. I-I should probably let my brother do this. No offense, or anything.

[Blinks, a little surprised but masking it and chalking it up to him probably being sensitive about the turtle thing and blushes slightly.]

Oh... ah all right... s-sorry. [Demurely looks down, handing over the tape and mumbles in a quiet voice.] Good luck with the... you know... think here.

[Her sudden shyness gives him a bit of confidence, but his hands are still shaking when he takes the tape from her.] It'll be fine. Couple of days and I'll be good as new.

[He offers her another crooked smile that's meant to be reassuring.] You got friends here?

Quick healer or more of the tough guy act again? [Grins coyly and shakes her head softly at the question.]

No. If Lupin was here he'd probably have hunted me down already, he's canine like that. And no one else would call me a friend.

Little bit of both. [His grin widens before turning thoughtful.]

And yeah, you're gonna need 'em here. Traps ain't gonna get you far, but 'least you got a gun. Still won't save ya from the Mallies, though.
