Okay so 3rd Friday the 13th this year. Pretty damn scary. But I survived! And no getting sucked into mirrors or ANYTHING! Not only that but we found Haru!! Creepy disturbing cube aside... And best of all I got all my remaining paintings sold! SO HA! Take THAT Fate! Can't touch this!

Reborn you're going to be so proud of me! I got the best price ever for them! YAY! It's a great REALLY long term investment. Ready!? I got land on the moon! Fairy Vearth! Entire countries worth! This will be worth BUNDLES in no time!

I kept the wolf painting though. I hung that up in the hall near the greenhouse door. And the pirate one I'm giving to Sanji and Summer Breeze to Robin.... But aside from that!

Oh and Lucci darling, thanks for the help looking. We couldn't have done it without you... so... Thanks.

The bloody army was too far off from where they would have been effective in a that pincer movement. That fool of a commander couldn't keep to the plan, so I took over and directed them in the ensuing fight.

For the pincer they were planning to succeed, that particular bloody group of idiots had to be somewhere else. No doubt the leaders were looking for a little too much glory.

Good thing I ran across them when I did, it would have been a slaughter.

Mm. Exactly. I never was fond of the whole birthright idea. But then I have a particular bias for several rather specifi reasons.

Some of them are decent. Other's just abuse what power they have.

Most armies I know have some form of dependable structure. If the leaders distance themselves too much, command falls apart.

True but that also means if their leading general disappears they're like to have troubles continuing like it's nothing.

But figurehead leaders are not the ones the army usually listens to. They ponce around when everything's fine, and at the first sign of trouble they run. Delegation, the best thing that has ever happened for me. Always have another way, because plans last only until the first moment of battle. Having one commander is a bloody fool thing to do.

I'll take your word on it. Any time I try to rely on someone other than myself bad things happen so I've taken to avoiding that whenever possible.
