The only person I love has been an outcast most of his life for being a half-wolf. Amongst other things.

I'm not asking you to trust me by any means when I trust no one myself. But I treat wolves like wolves, not dogs. With the same respect I'd give any smart and dangerous animal. If other humans treat you like dogs it's because they're too stupid to look beneath the surface to what's going on. Most people underestimate me all the time. And I'm fine with that. If they're too stupid to understand than they'll get what they deserve.

But don't ask me not to worry about him. I don't understand the crew loyalty the way Straw-Hat has it but I AM loyal to my pack, same as you. I'll protect them as much as I can and if one gets lost or hurt, I'm going to worry until I find him.

Then you should be looking for him instead of asking me questions about Paradise, shouldn't you?

I was trying to pass the time and not focus on the fact that he might be dead. Feel free to try to distract me with something else because while I sit here waiting for him to wake up from conciousness.... ~~assuming he will~~ The constant reminder that I didn't protect him, that if I'd just gotten there a little bit earlier maybe this wouldn't be so bad, or maybe it would because I have no fucking clue how this happened, all that? Get on the sub. I want Toboe to have a good face nearby when he wakes up. A real wolf.

If this is... Darcia's fault. You shouldn't take him on alone. You'll get killed again. Or hurt. And if you're hurt, Toboe will be sad and I don't think he can find Paradise without you. If this is Darcia's fault than I think more than one person has to go after him. He killed your entire pack before. My pack... my crew, this sub has a lot of strong people in it. Most them not as human as you'd think. Don't do something stupid that will hurt Toboe too. And you getting hurt will make it worse for him and I can't deal with that now.

Can you smell on Toboe whether Darcia did this? There's a lot of dangerous things in this world. And demons from other worlds too.
