Okay so Crocodile and I got in a debate about having goals/unattainable quests/missions/whatever. And I've been curious about this for awhile and like Liet said, things are really slow on this ship right now. So dream meme.


1. Do you have an ultimate goal/dream?
a) If yes, what is this?
b) If you don't want to tell people, why not?
2. What is it you want right now/within the next month or so?
3. What would it take for you to achieve your ultimate dream?
a) What would it take for you to obtain what you want right now?
4. Do you want other people to be involved in this dream?
a) Who and/or why them/why not?
5. Did you have a different dream when you were younger?
a) What was it?
b) What made it change?
c) If you could do it now, would you?
6. How much closer are you to acheiving your goal from 6 months ago?

Most people seem to be apathetic or antagonistic about it so far. Except Nami and Gokudera and Lithuania.

Not that I'm one to talk, I'm pretty lackadaisical about the whole affair.

Why do you keep doing what you do, then? What motivates you to keep running?

Silvers and I just a discussion about that basically... And there's a long list of reasons but really it just boils down to "for fun and profit." Basically whatever interests me long enough is worth the time and energy. The more interesting, the more work I'll give it or something.

When I was younger I tried to plan out... everything. And that always failed. So I'm a lot happier just going day to day, week to week with whatever interests me for the time being.

I mean take Crocodile he keeps trying to plan everything and have goals and whatever but how much does that really help him?

Hmm. That's good to know.

Yes, plans do tend to get quite frustrated as time goes by. Though, in Crocodile-san's case, his failure has little to do with his planning, which is brilliant, and more to do with simply angering the wrong people.
