OOC: Gokudera's Party Log Post

OBVIOUSLY you don't have to show up. We know it's short notice and during the week (feel free to run threads for months I don't mind) we just had a lot of people wanting to log things related to it and rather than have 17 little logs (seriously, I mean it is starting to clutter friend's page, for which I apologize because I think 1/2 of that is me orz) THIS WAY everyone can and all one post. And be spontaneous whatever.

It's decorated for Gokudera's birthday, nothing TOO big and flashy but Fujiko got him a piano banner because she's like that. (and did one for Akito/Agito so yeah)

Also of course, the awesome amazing PIANO Tsuna and Reborn got him with Brooke to visit and play!! YAY!

"I caught a glimpse of it before they put it out. I'm not that busy, I just didn't want to get in anyone's way." Tsuna admits, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

"H-Have I?" He wasn't he'd let anything show to worry his friends... Maybe Gokudera-kun is just worrying too much.

"It's very... colorful." Gokudera says thoughtfully and he runs his thumb over his chin and purses his lips.

"Ah! Maybe I've just been very busy! I'm sorry I was away for so long, Tenth!" Gokudera gasps and lowers his hands to his knees, bowing his head low. "I hope I didn't miss too much..."

"Have you tried it yet?" He asks. He's not sure what flavor red velvet is...

"It's alright, Gokudera-kun! No, you didn't miss much." Tsuna holds his hands out to stop his friend's bowing.

"No. I was going to wait for everyone else..." Gokudera said, thinking that he might get some soon the more he thought about it.

"Ah! I hope you didn't worry about me." It came off sounding more like a suggestion than a concern.

"Good idea." The brunette offers his storm guardian a small smile.

~~I always worry about you~~ "You're very strong! I knew you could take care of yourself! Did you accomplish what you wanted?"

Gokudera smiles back, returning it with full force.

"Ah hehe" He blushes a little and glances away. "Of course!" The silver-haired teen makes a fist and leans forward, beginning enthusiastically, "I developed a new technique that combines Uri's physical force with the power of the Systema C.A.I." He's grinning and puffing out his chest slightly, hoping his boss will be pleased with the information.

"Great! I'm sure it's very strong!" But he hopes he'll never have to see his friend use it on anyone anytime soon.

"How about you, Tenth?" Gokudera grins. He'll save showing off the new move for when the time comes around, so it will be a ~surprise~. "Anything wild and exciting happen to you while I was gone?"

Young Vongola stares at his feet in thought wondering if he should tell his friend about his relationship with Haru. He doesn't want to worry his the silver haired bomber, though... It's his special day after all and he doesn't want to sully the mood with any of the drama that went down during his absence. "Not wild and exciting..." He mumbles a little sadly.

Noting his boss' tone, Gokudera straightens up and leans in closer, "Something wrong, Tenth?" He asks, riddled with concern and urgency.

"I-I broke things off with Haru..." He draws in a trembling breath and looks at his hands. "And now things are awkward... a-and I don't know what to do to make things better." Tsuna says timidly to his storm guardian.

"Hmm." Gokudera crosses his arms over his chest and nods. "He isn't good enough for you anyways, Tenth."

You don't think anyone is good enough for me, Gokudera-kun Tsuna pulls a sarcastic face as he looks up at his silver-haired friend. "He's my friend and it matters a lot to me." He huffs a little.

"Of course!!" Gokudera grins. "I'm sure he'll get over it, Tenth." He didn't mean to make the Tenth upset and he slumps slightly at the tone. "Because you're an important person and he has to respect your decision..."

"But I'm not sure I can get over it. I don't want him to feel as if he has to do anything." Tsuna sighs and curls his legs up to his chest. "I want some kind of compromise... or at least some way for him to stop hurting..." Maybe I'm asking too much, but this is so overwhelming. The young captain thinks to himself and offers Gokudera a sad smile.

"...Tenth." He whispers and his hand lifts slightly. Gokudera wants to set it on his boss' shoulder and give it a reassuring squeeze, but then it might be too awkward. "You're stronger than you give yourself credit for. I'm sure it took a lot to do what you felt necessary. And..." Gokudera frowned a little at Tsuna's sad smile, "Hmm. This is not easy for him either. I understand you don't want him upset, but these things happen. You are doing fine." And Gokudera thinks that his boss is, in fact treating Haru better than anyone else. Even though he's just broken off a relationship with him, it is still so obvious that the Tenth Vongola does not wish him any pain or discomfort. Gokudera's heart throbs and he offers his own smile, though it isn't sad, but it's brimming with sparkling adoration.

Gokudera's words are very touching and Tsuna feels them pull at his heart. However, this isn't solving his problem and there's still something eating at him. The Don carefully looks down the hallways and behind the couch before leaning closer to his friend, "But I think I still have feelings for him..." He says in a hushed tone. A small blush warms the skin on his cheeks, but he hopes it isn't too visible.

Gokudera leans forward and tilts his head so that his boss can speak better into his ear. He can feel his eyes widen to their fullest and a small shocked "oh" sits on his lips. The teen looks at his boss with a tiny blush dusted on his cheeks as he thinks The Tenth trusts me with something so personal! This must mean he approves of me as his right-hand man! The shocked expression turns to an excited smile. "Tenth this is perfect!" He says, voice overly loud with enthusiasm.

Tsuna frantically waves his arms out in front of him and shakes his head, "No it isn't!" He whines. "B-Because I have feelings for someone else too." Another wave of guilt hits him and his heart drops to his stomach. The boy groans and rubs at his face in exasperation at his own predicament.

Gokuder's smile turns into a sly grin, "Tenth can like whoever he wants." So long as boss is happy, that's all that matters to him.

The brunette stares at his friend in disbelief for a few moments before saying anything. "I-Isn't that kind of... selfish?"

"Well... If the people you like don't mind... then it should be fine!" Gokudera beams, "Tenth doesn't have to date anyone exclusively!" He imagines his boss sitting in a tall chair with a harem of beautiful women at his feet.

"I don't think the other person I like knows... and that's not very nice!!!" THIS ISN'T HELPING!! Tsuna's on the verge of standing up and walking out of the lounge. He understands that Gokudera likes to put him on a pedestal, but this just goes against his morals. What would Kyoko-chan think? Haru is already upset with me!!

"Hmm." Gokudera looks conflicted and crosses his arms over his chest. "You don't have to, but... if they like you, then they should be able to respect your decision." He smiles, "He would have a hard time staying upset with someone like you, Tenth! And this other person... I don't know this person yet... but I think you should do what feels right, regardless of what anyone else thinks." He offers his nicest grin. "And remember..." The silver haired teen picks up his controller and navigates through the game once more. There is a soft 'klack klack' as his thumb bumps the joystick forward, "I've got your back, no matter what you decide to do."

"Hmm... thanks, Gokudera-kun." He smiles warmly at his storm guardian and picks up his controller too. Unease still streams through him, but he feels better now that he's talked to someone. Someone he knows won't judge him.

"You wanna go again?"
