ooc: Sorry for insane length

I woke up this morning more tired than usual but disappointingly that's been the usual of late. Having Kaku around for awhile was a nice reprieve from that as I was almost forcing myself to have energy to keep up and cheer him up. It was nice. I miss him but I'm glad he's back home. I hope he's happy again soon. In spite of... or perhaps because of my little prank on him. I need to write down a list of the traps I put out and figure out which ones he removed already. Or maybe not. I could just leave them for next time and add more. If there is a next time the way Lucci is mad at me. I don't want to think too much about that.

I went into town and everyone was staring at me. Such a strange place. I don't think it was the bounty, my hair is still blonde from the summer but starting to turn redder-brown again soon so I can't look too much like my bounty poster. And it's an almost insultingly low number, no one would bother looking for 6,000 berri. I think. Whatever. They probably stared for the usual reasons.

At least we're all stocked up now. Hm, I should tell the sub that. Toboe was out with Haru, Tsume, and Silver so I don't want him thinking he needs to go shopping again. I need to hide the peanut butter before they get back. It's cute that they think we don't notice. I need to test Jyabura on ways to hide things from their killer sense of smell. So far the vents work well for that but can't keep it there forever, they're bound to catch on.

There, that done, I shall make my post. "Hello all," I greet the general community. "Found some of the cutest shops on the island today. If you get a chance, go take a look~ But the people are all acting weirder than usual. I finished off the shopping so the sub is all stocked up. Tsuna, you've got the Vongola stocks under control?" We definitely don't want more lost lawyers hiding/stuck in storage rooms. Poor Wright. That guy attracts MY sort of luck. Which is saying something. "Haru, after your training finishes we're going to Haruhi's movie. No arguments. Haruhi, sorry for the wait. I might be able to conscript some of the rest of my crew into it if you're still needing more people." Though that really depends on who she wants.

I picked up a present for just about everyone. Kalifa I got earrings, Toboe I got wolf booties -- our next island is supposed to be a winter island and I know he and Tsume will love that, and Tsume I got headphones that wrap around the neck. I hope he'll like them, that way he can tune out some of the noise. Haru I got a whole bunch of really sharp gems he should be able to use as weapons. Parting with the shinies is going to kill me but I just have to keep telling myself it's an investment. It better be. I also got him sock puppets. Because SOMETHING has to make him laugh. And if Jyabura doing sock puppet impersonations of various grumpy people doesn't do it, nothing will. Of course Jyabura will want to keep that secret since he doesn't normally show that but I'm sure I can talk him into it. I wasn't sure what to get Cheza yet. Maybe just some flower seeds or growth mulch? But I don't want her to think she has to do anything. I'm thinking of just leaving everything in their respective rooms or secret places and seeing how long it takes them to find them. If the kids were around we'd be garunteed to find everything faster. Maybe I should just tell them? But I won't.

There was something big-ish I needed to post about but I don't really remember right now. Too excited about my T-Rex. I haven't told Jyabura. He's probably going to freak. That should be fun. "I found a saddle that will fit the T-Rex!! Apparently it's for some kind of giant man-eating ox they have around here. Thanks Straw-Hat! You get the first ride! <3" He's still scary but a T-Rex more than makes up for it. And Sanji promised it would actually reach here. Fufufu. I should probably link a picture of that saddle but I don't feel like it. They'll see it all anyway. Oh well, if there's something else I'll mention it in the comments.
