Not running away
Hey so... I got some things to deal with regarding the ah... fruits.
As you'll notice I kind of um. Dismantled my my greenhouse of the weird stuff. No roped off sections, I'll replace it with some chestnut trees and I don't know what.
I burned all the green apples, and there won't be any others. I'm doing something about them and no, I'm not telling you what.
And for the sub. I'm handling the bounties.

a) It's not directly your fault so assuming it is is just idiotic.
b) Don't say you don't know him that well. If anything that's what's depressing him. He used to be in my crew and you worked your ass off trying to lure him to join yours. Don't suddenly up and decide you don't know him. I know about the fight and that other crap but that's why he HAS such respect for you. Jeez kid how would you feel if Usopp said that about you? You don't have to remember everything or know why you were close or even accept that you were but do NOT say you don't know him. You were the ONLY person who consistently told him he wasn't just a weapon and a tool to be used by the World Government.
Hey Straw-Hat. You used to call him pigeon guy. Even when you called all the rest of your crew by name. It drove him crazy because he felt like he he had to earn his name. But he did try. He spent a lot of time trying. He gave up a lot of his existence for you. Don't say you don't know him. God. I pride myself on how well I can read people. I might not be as good at it as you, but even assuming you don't remember all the things tha happened, or why or how you always knew he wasn't just a raving psychotic serial killer. That is why you called him pigeon guy. To remind him he was human, not a tool. To remeind him that he loved Hattori and did things like venquilotrism. Things that make him more than a leopard assassin and actually human. THAT is why you made him your nakama. And if you don't think he is anything but that weapon, then you don't deserve him because he probably feels like if you don't think he's more than a weapon, then why should he?
Never say you don't know him. You don't have to remember him to know him.
