OOC: PARTY LOG / Carnival Contests Event~
WELCOME TO THE PARTY~ Woooot
All the contests are entered in pairs. Still haven't had your characters sign up yet? There will be sign-up boards in the back they can stand around trying to find partners with. Fujiko and Smoker will be available (Smoker has taken obedience potion so ordering him will work) to help fill in the blanks.
Just because you're signed up doesn't mean you have to log~ Likewise, you do not have to sign up or be in the contests TO log with us! You can be a spectator or just show up and porn or whatever I don't even care <3 Just have fun! :D
The contests will be assigned one pair vs. one pair. (swiss tournament style rules) until only one pair (the winners) remain (there are some exceptions like the races and pie cooking and pie eating contests). For the most part, pairs and winners are drawn out of hat because I say so :| Sorry about that. But~ enter almost every contest and you'll almost definitely win something. And of course, you can always have fun creating CRAZY/stupid reasons your characters lose like getting in a pie fight instead of eating the pie. Or one of the partnered characters might not really want to be there and try to constantly run away~ HAVE FUN WITH IT! \o/ It's all for fake character money anyway.
How it works: Find the thread with the contest you're entering and start logging whatever you feel like (mildly related to the event would be suggested but honestly so not required.) For the yo Momma, painting, and karaoke contests~ I EXPECT CREATIVITY! RAWR. Remember it doesn't matter if you suck. No seriously. The judges are lazy and probably just throw a dart on a board to pick a winner because they're just in it for the money and making an appearance for the sake of appearances.
And I think almost everyone knows this by now but just in case not~ Logs are done from a mostly ooc perspective. You still play your character, no godmodding, etc. but wherein the rest of MM is actual journal posts as if the characters had ljs and are talking on them, this is doing stuff in person, physically at Lavinrac's once-a-year Carnival to which there were flyers everywhere.
