| Record storms continue to ravage the edges along the Grand Line and Calm Belts! Earlier this month, the Grand Line which commonly sees a great number of typhoons, saw a record number of storms skirting the edges of the Calm Belts. The Calm Belts of course, so named precisely because of their usual lack of winds or storms. While very few islands or people were affected by this, some were devastated. Ma and Pa Grubbs were particularly affected by this minor destruction. | Their fledging "seaking farm" took a particularly heavy blow when the seakings went crazy from the storm. "They jus' up and wen' nutters, ya know? One minute they were all peaceful like and then the storms came and the seakings, well they are wen' and freaked out like it was the end of the world. Kind of were the end of our world." A tearful Pa Grubbs sobbed onto his wife's shoulders. The Grubbs had just started their seaking farm on the edge of the Calm Belts as a means of raising seaking meat for Grand Line travelers. | The 200 acre "farm" was a small island with a large number of nets. During the latest storm's havoc however, the very seakings the Grubbs were raising went on a rampage attacking the island, destroying the nets and the poor Grubbs themslves only just got away. "Luckily," Ma Grubbs confided, "I put all our money investing into bath houses in Alabasta! So now at least we have someplace to go and we aren't completely financially ruined." |

First off, he could be lying. I don't know if wolves can lie (Jyabura can but hasn't to me yet) but he's not all wolf either. It's very likely he's trying to scare you and make you do something stupid. I've tricked more people like that myself than I can even count. And secondly, from what I saw it looks like HE was the one to die.
This Paradise? It's supposed to reject anyone who's not a wolf? He saw a bright light and wound up here, right? Well other people wound up here only when they died. ESPECIALLY with the time thing involved. Calgara is from hundreds of years ago in this world. And quite a few of the people who came here from other worlds died in theirs. But a lot of them knew it.
Myself? I was worried I died too but from the descriptions the others gave me, I'm certain I did not. And I think if all you and your pack had died, you'd all be here together then.
And thirdly. Something I KNOW is the truth because it's happened to me and I know others who say the same thing; the future is never written in stone. It can be changed, for better or for worse. Someone tried to kill my ancestors to make it that I was never born but I'm still alive. Even if he is from an alternate version of your world where he killed you all, it doesn't mean that is what happens. Especially now that you are here and he gave away his position by telling you about it.

And I may not know about Paradise, but I don't think it has to do with who's a wolf or not. No one knows but... not all humans are bad, and it'd be unfair if they didn't come. Now Darcia... he is evil. Someone like him cannot be allowed in Paradise, else it'd lose all the meaning we hoped for.

I don't want him here. He stole Cheza more than once and he attacked us. Even if he helped us with that other Noble who also stole Cheza, he is evil. And he... keeps saying those things.

I guess this can't be your Paradise if your pack isn't here. But I still think it might be here. If it is... I will help you find it. And Jyabura and Ipin and I won't let Darcia (is that his name?) hurt you. I swear it. No matter what. I'll shoot him if he comes anywhere near you.

I'm still putting together a small database of my own first. I have some bigger names I don't want to use up until their bounty is higher but I got a few others that should be worth something. And the island nearest to us has a certain... crime ring that should be profitable to look into. I'll need your help especially on the latter. I'll need your nose to sniff them out. Literally.
