So I hear you sleep with a teddy bear named Old Fritz. As adorable as this is ~~I'd love a picture by the way~~ are you perhaps a little too lonely of late? Whatever will you do with that package I sent you? I suppose you could use them on the Old Fritz teddy bear but really, whatever would be the point?

Also. I need a head-count. If you're on the SDC sub and you know it clap your hands. And by clap your hands I mean actually post a reply. And if everyone could tell me what power you have currently and what you're missing I'll try to let you know who has what if you want it back. Or you can all fend for yourself if you think that's actually been working for you.

When Granny died I didn't really know much about how to survive, so crows and cats usually chased me away whenever I found food. But I learned with time - but they still annoy me.

Yeah. He's creepy. I think his name is Happy or something but he's definitely creepy.

Aw. That's sounds sad. Mostly my problem with cats is pretty basic. I get along with almost every animal out there except cats and crows. And usually the bigger an animal the more I get along with it. So tigers and lions I don't mind but those small cats? I don't know. They give me the creeps though. Well I don't think any cats here will chase you. If they do I'll make them back off.

I never saw a big cat, but Kiba said he met a cougar. Also, giraffe-guy told me that his mate was a leopard, so I'll sooner or later meet a big cat, right?

Ah, thank you! I already know how to get rid of them, but I guess it's just... they are so sneaky and annoying and always tease me and smell.

black_hat_cat He's... sometimes difficult to get along with? I like him well enough but Jyabura and him don't get along at all. They used to be in the pack. Still are sort of but it's weird because they're in seperate crews. And I think Jyabura and I are the only ones who think of them like a pack if that makes any sense. Cougars tend to be less friendly though. They usually feel pretty cornered in their territory so they lash out quickly. Tigers are more cornered but a little more rational so long as they know you're not a threat. Maybe it's because they're bigger they're not as scared.

They are sneaky. And Happy can be annoying but I don't think he'll bug you too much. At least he seems distractable with fish.

You don't mind if Jyabura comes with us right? He said he wanted to talk to you more if it's okay with you. I think that means he likes you. Which is good, he usually only gets along well with girls.

Oh, I see. Maybe it's that cat vs dog thing? I agree when people say that dogs don't get along with cats.
You know a lot about other animals. It's really cool, actually. I never had the chance to meet many; the weirdest one I saw was a walrus.

Why only females?

Yeah, I was teasing him about that when we first met. He's pretty sure that's what it is too but there's a lot of competitiveness there. One of Jyabura's old girlfriends left him for Lucci so that didn't help either.

Heh thanks. I really like animals. They leave you but they don't stab you in the back before they do. And they make a lot of sense. They're not as complicated as humans because it's usually pretty easy to figure out what they want and why they do what they do. A walrus? That sounds cool! I've never seen one in the wild before. Just in aquariums. Was he friendly?

He does. Probably the wolf thing. ^_^
And I'm just guessing here but I think because he doesn't feel he has to compete with girls as much? And they're usually a lot nicer when he first meets them. A lot of guys are jerks to him because of whatever, other guys are scared of him (supposedly he's really intimidating and scary but I don't see it as much) but with girls they tend to like him more so it's easier for him to like them back. Like Ipin. So far as I can tell they almost instantly got along. But I think almost everyone gets along with Ipin pretty quickly.

Well. Wolves mate for life. One partner forever. But a lot of humans aren't like that. Jyabura's kind of special to me because he does understand the monogamy thing when so many people think I'm just crazy. From what I understand one of his ex-girlfriend's broke up with him, um literally left the relationship and Jyabura because she said Lucci was better. Even though Lucci didn't date her, she left Jyabura for Lucci. Uh. In general I don't think either of them particularly wants to remember it. According to Lucci, Jyabura didn't have good taste in women usually and I'm pretty sure that's what he meant and more.

Ohh congratulations! Is that a big event for wolves? It is for assassins.

Aw! I like you. :D Yeah I love his scars! They're totally badass. But he gives off a protective aura. If someone threatened anyone in his pack he'd be the most dangerous foe I can think of. But he's really sweet I think. I'm biased though.

Ipin is very sweet, yes. It'd be hard for most people not to instantly like her I think. Kind of like you a little. You both are really nice to new people no matter what. It's cute.

Humans don't mate for life? That's sad, feelings shoulnd't be volatile like that. Wolves only change mates when their mate dies. Even if they are far away, I'd never leave my mate.

Yes, it is! It was when I became an adult. And I was allowed to be the first to eat.

Ahah, I think so too. He reminds me of Tsume, actually. He is like that as well, though he always tries to hide that he worries.

I agree that it's sad. And sadder still that it's common. I don't know why most humans don't mate for life. I don't understand it myself. I told Jyabura once that monogamy is kind of like a fire. The more passionate and intense it is, the better, the warmer and more exciting. But also the scarier. Maybe it's because they're afraid of getting burned by it. Like you said, humans are afraid a lot. And maybe some of them are afraid of not taking chances with someone else. I'm not really sure. To me, if it's not passionate and loyal enough, it's not worth it. I mean if it's not to the point where you wouldn't even want to be with someone else, then you don't really like them enough in the first place.

Nice! ^_^ It's kind of like becoming independent for a human then. Maybe because wolves have to go alone, seperate from their pack sometimes? So being able to hunt something on your own is proof that you can be independent when you need to be?

Yeah Jyabura too. He worries a lot but he's usually good at hiding it to everyone else. Renge says it's because he's a "wild type" and he can only show his true feelings to someone he loves.

Well, it wasn't really like that. The walrus attacked us and I just... I'm not sure. Something overcame me and I jumped on him and killed him. Tsume said I was just like an adult then, and that I was growing up.

Heh yeah. Or... or you like them more the more you know them, right? Because I do know a lot about Jyabura already but there's a lot more I don't and the more I do learn, the more I like him. And I don't think I ever could forget the reasons because just being around him reminds me. He's really one of a kind. And I like rare things. And heh well yeah... there's a lot of reasons. Not really. We haven't had much time to look for food since then, and we usually settle for anything we can find, like carcasses.

Yeah? Something I've been meaning to ask you and I'm sorry if it's rude. You said Blue was half-dog, did anyone in your pack have a problem with that? Where I come from, people with half-origins of something else get a lot of hassle from others. I'm assuming Hige didn't have a problem with it but any of the others? Or do wolves not really care about things like that. And sorry if it's too personal.

No, no one did, really. Even if she was a half, she was still a wolf, like us. Besides, we do get along with other animals, and we even met a human tribe that also lived together with many animals. We don't usually care about who's half or different.

Both, actually. There were humans after Paradise and Cheza as well.

Sounds really cool. See, that's why I like wolves and most animals. They don't pull the kind of stupid stuff so many humans do about things like that.

Cheza? I know you said you didn't really know much about Paradise, but what was it supposed to be like? I thought it was sort of like wolf havens we had back in my world but humans were after it too?

Well, I suppose that's true. But not humans are bad, after all, no one cares that I'm different here.

Cheza is our guide to Paradise. She was made by humans from a flower. And she... smell really nice and was very pretty.
It's said that only wolves can open it, but I don't know if humans can get there; I hope so, actually. There were two humans who helped us and they were really nice, I think they should be allowed to go there.

Fair enough. People here are nicer than the ones I've known. Unless they're just better at hiding their mean streaks.

She is a flowermen, but the one that never wither away - the Flower's maiden that was born from the Lunar Flower. She calls for us, wolves, and we call for her, and we all know who she is even if we never seen her before.
She makes us... very warm inside, relaxed, she heals us, she smells very good, she is very irresistible too. We just want to have her near and protect her at all costs.

Maybe. You're a little more optomistic than I am. I prefer not to give unfounded hopes when they could fall through.

Huh. That definitely sounds impressive. So can she call to you even now even though you're in a different world?

No, I can't feel her anywhere.

Even if she was here... I don't know if she'd be able to show the path to Paradise.

Yeah, I hope so too! At least she is still with Kiba and the others back in our world, so she isn't lonely.
