Oh yes, his presence alone is daunting to those that fear him. He cares about his shinigami a great deal. We're like his children after all.

Shinigami aren't the only beings working in the Ministry of Hades. The suits that bark orders at us aren't. Some of them were people sentenced to remained in Meifu before reincarnating. He makes them nervous. Hm!

For all the scary legends people have about Enma-Daioh, the King really isn't all that antimidating. That's why I really don't care for those grim reaper stories. We aren't gothic cult members...
