You must lead a very interesting life then. I would like to do more traveling in the future, but I'm happy... well, was happy in Hinamizawa for now. I suppose I don't have much choice about doing some travel now!
It's really fun! We celebrate it to give thanks to our guardian god, Oyashiro-sama. Well, mostly it's a fairly standard Japanese festival I suppose, but then there's a ceremony were the person taking on the role of miko - that would be Rika now, she looks soooo cute~ in her costume - performs a dance and uses a special tool to rip open a futon filled with cotton which everyone takes some of a floats in the river. It's meant to absorb your sadness and sins and take them away! It's really fun. You should go sometime!
